Prague University of Economics and Business has received a Confirmation Letter as part of the process of obtaining the prestigious HR Excellence in Research (HR Award)

Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) has taken a significant step toward obtaining the prestigious international HR Award, granted by the European Commission to institutions that comply with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The European Commission has confirmed VŠE’s registration among institutions committed to these principles and issued the university a so-called Confirmation Letter.

This document confirms that VŠE has officially entered the process of implementing the HR Excellence in Research standards and has begun preparing the necessary documentation required to obtain the HR Excellence in Research Award itself. The next phase will primarily include an analysis of the compliance of existing procedures with the requirements of the Charter and the Code, as well as the development of an action plan focused on strengthening human resources strategy, ensuring transparent recruitment processes, and supporting researchers.

Participation in this process may, in the future, enhance VŠE’s international competitiveness, improve working conditions for researchers, and increase the university’s attractiveness for international experts and talented researchers.
